This strange light spawned between two supernovas is likley an alternate dimension. Thirnovans are half energy.

No one knows how long Thirnova exsisted, but they know that the atcuall planet is it's own dimension and that the yellow diamond is a gatway to it. The gateway was made from two simultanious supernovas that tore a gap in the space time continum. Basically it is a planet with no edges, and the opening is all around it, so they can still see the stars. When Meteos rain down on it they can destroy the entire dimension and the opening. A short while after it opened the opening started to close. Everyone tried their best to keep it open but failed. Eventually Wiral invented something that could hold it open. Now the Thirnovans have no fear of being cut off from the rest of the galaxy. Thirnovans are 50% kenetic energy and must keep moving to produce that energy. If they stop they will turn into a pile of organic substances. The atcuall dimension of Thirnova is filled with light and energy.
